Patara Elephant Farm

Hi, I have been looking at booking a day here for my wife and I, we will be going 11th or 12th October. The price I have been quoted is 5,800Baht each. Now, I have read all the reviews and understand that this is an amazing experience, I just wondered if this is the correct price, and this is what other people have paid as well. Thanx, Steve.

I have booked a day at Patara for November. I have also been quoted 5800 Baht/person. I believe this is the new price from October, 2008. I%26#39;m really looking forward to the experience. :-)

We are booked for 11 Oct. (4 of us). We are paying 5800THB each. This was the price increase as of 1 Oct.

Patara elephant farm is a great experience. I don%26#39;t know about the price %26#39;cause i went there to do an interview, but i had a great time, as well as the people i met there that day.

Before i have book with Patara but i saw this review and i have change to go with Baanchang Elephant Park because they do the same but the price alot cheaper ( 2,400 baht/person ) than Patara. Think maybe your missing the point here, thats why I%26#39;m a TA member, so i can get the ';real'; heads up on places, hotels etc etc from people who have personaly gone there themselves, paid for with their own hard earned cash. So, i see two trips i like the sound of, one has many fantastic reviews from real people and the other has one review only, it%26#39;s kinda a no-brainer really. Different stokes for different folks. I look forward to our trip to see Pat and his Elephants.

Although I did receive an e-mail this morning from our hotel %26amp; she said they just received pamphlets from this other place a couple of weeks ago.

We went to Patara Elephant Park yesterday.

Absolutely amazing, well worth every cent.

We paid 4200 baht each.
