i%26#39;m having a really hard time picking between these two resorts. we don%26#39;t have kids...want to stay on chaweng beach and walking distance to the restaurants. any significant difference between the two?

by profession i do hotel comparison checks throughout thailand and was on samui 2 weeks ago. if you want to stay at chaweng, don%26#39;t go for beachcober nor blue lagoon. the management there is the worst you can get. if you compare centara and palm reef, i%26#39;d personally rather go to palm reef as it is in walking distance to all the amusment but in a good distance in order not to get disturbet in the night time. the rooms and hotel park have also a better a appearance. staff are in both places very friendly and professional.
Both are good resorts, Centara has a better beach.
skimmy, I too am trying to decide between these 2 hotels!! I will probably opt for the amari as it is consistently in the top 10 of TA reviews. The food is highly rated too.
