Looking for the best Khlong canal tour to take. We are traveling to bangkok and it seemed to be something different to do. We have a few days in bangkok and traveling with kids ages 7 and 13. Sounds like there a a variety of sights to see. We would be interested in seeing a different side to bangkok that may be off the beatne path. Any suggestions appreciated

Take the public Chao Phrya Express boat to the end of the line at Nonthaburi (about 1 hour), hire a long tail boat to see the klongs in that area, much more interesting and %26#39;authentic%26#39; than klong tour in Bangkok city.

Although the northern districts might be a bit more aesthetically pleasing, Bangkok doesn%26#39;t get much more ';authentic'; than the hovels that line the klongs!
