hi, anyone stayed at this hotel with any comments on the superior rooms? also anyone know if it is guest friendly or not? as i am considering staying there in january.

My friends stayed there and it was an excellant hotel. don%26#39;t know what the superior rooms are like but the thais are generally very friendlly and u won%26#39;t be dissapointed with their hospitality.

Just got back from Koh Samui last week. Stayed at the Chaeweng Beach Resort and it was horrible. Got a scooter and stopped off at several hotels to review before deciding which one to move too. Chose Iyara and very thankful we did. If you note most of the comments on this forum re. Iyara are extremely positive. I can support that. Staff are absolutely amazing. We came from Patong (Phuket) to Koh Samui and the staff at this hotel are head n shoulders above other hotels we stayed in. The resort is beautiful, upmarket, clean and their restaurant is faultless. Also the cost of the food in this hotel is competitive with restaurants outside the hotel. This was the first holiday we%26#39;ve had where we nearly ate all our meals entirely in the hotel because they were well priced, top quality food and service and in the evenings they set up on the beach. So romantic and exactly what we were looking for. The superior rooms are good, in fact, all the rooms are good. I don%26#39;t think you can go wrong staying here. Enjoy, enjoy.
