We are staying in Krabi in November and whilst there we have friends staying in Koh Samui, is it possible to get to Koh Samui from Krabi there and back in one day (not sure how big the island is), if so what is the best way

You can certainly do Krabi to Koh Samui to Krabi in one day but you%26#39;ll no have much time to do other than say Hello and Goodbye to your friends. Taxi from Krabi to Surat Thani about 3 hours, then ferry to Samui also about 3 hours {but depends on timetable).

You can fly directly, check timetable on www.bangkokair.com but I would stay overnight if I were you...What%26#39;s the point of going so far for nothing?
