Hi, just wondering if anyone has done the trip from Sihanoukville to Koh Chang, Also can anyone tell me whats the best route from there to get down to the south of Thailand.

Not sure if you already emailed me about this a couple of days ago - but as no-one else has replied . . .
Take a boat or bus from Sihanoukville to Koh Kong in the morning, then cross the border. Take minibus from the border to Trat bus station ( 120 Baht/person - about 75 mins drive), then a pick up truck taxi from Trat Bus station to the ferry pier. If you leave Sihanoukville early morning you will have no problem getting to Koh Chang the same day.

From KC to the south fo Thailand head back to Bangkok and then fly or bus your way down south depending on your budget. Only other option is to fly Utapao i.e Pattaya - Samui on Bangkok Airways ( www.bangkokair.com )
