hi all can anyone advise me on best airline bkk to samui?we are 2 couples in bkk for 2 days arriving on nov 8th then on to phuket!1st timers and not a clue!many thanks.

Probably the cheapest will be AirAsia with 7 flights a day. Early and late flights are the cheap flights currently about 1730 baht one way.

I am going from Bangkok to Phuket next week flying Air Asia, never been with them before but they were so much cheaper than anything else I could find.

In any case, the three airlines you have to choose from for Phuket are Thai Domestic, Air Asia and Bangkok Airways.

Thai is the old standby, and often offers competitive prices. Air Asia is a low-cost carrier and I%26#39;ve nothing but good things to say about it. Bangkok Airways styles itself as ';Asia%26#39;s Boutique Airline'; and it tends to be the most expensive.

For Samui, Bangkok Air owns the airport, so the only choices are them and - since recently - a few Thai flights.

Best deals are AirAsia and best time to fly is early morning and evening(6-30p.m. ish)back.Fares are up to 2/3%26#39;s cheaper if you can be flexible.If you are going to Samui,think Bangkok Air has the monopoly,so not really budget as such.
