how long to stay on each island????

hi

im going to be down at phuket for about 6 days and dont know whether to split the 6 days up and stay in phi phi for a couple and krabi for the rest.

any suggestions??

6 days is really not a long time to spend on Phuket as there is so much to do depending on what your preferences are. For example daytrips to Phi Phi are readily available from Phuket and can easily be arranged upon your arrival. I recommend that you take each day at a time and decide on your plans then. There are so many tour operators on Phuket who would easily be able to assist you.

6 days is not very long so I don%26#39;t think you should try for more than one other destination.

Perhaps Phuket for 4 and Phi Phi for 2 nights.

Agreed with both posts. Just make sure you get to Phi Phi. It%26#39;s on its way down the crapper again after having a few good years after the tsunami. Rubbish is everywhere and no one (read: backpackers) cares they%26#39;re destroying an idyllic locale.

SO, before it turns into Patong, go and enjoy it. Me, I%26#39;d go 4 days Phi Phi, 2 Patong. You can only see so many knock off stalls on Patong. I stay up in Kamala now. WAY more relaxed than the chaos of Patong. Don%26#39;t get me worng, Patong is a must see also. It%26#39;s crazy in a very good way. Don%26#39;t forget Bangla and the ladyboys. lol

Phi Phi was dissapointing to me as well. Was there a few years back and it has changed this time around (2weeks ago)would only do a day trip. It just didn%26#39;t have the same vibe. And it was%26#39;nt an age thing (40).The Beauty has changed.Only some people would understand.

thanks everyone for the advice think i might just leave krabi then, just want to see as much as possible. im going for 3 weeks and heading over to ko phanang after im down at phuket.
