has anyone stay at Riverine place, at Nonthaburi, Bkk

well, I think this place is very nice! situated by the cho pra ya river. seem like a family type of apartments. Just would like some feed back about this place, such as how far to get to MBK and other tourist attractions. With all the express way in bkk would be much traffic ! Ta or and the good + the bad

The good is that it is very nice, right on the river, lots of good facilities.

The drawback is that it is about 30 km or more from Bangkok city center, and is in the provincial capital of Nonthaburi province. Your options for getting into the city are: 1) Lots of public buses - But you need to read Thai to know where most of them are going, and it can take 1 1/2 hours each way by bus. 2) Taxi - going to be expensive each time each way, at least 200 baht one way plus tolls. 3) Chao Phrya Express boat - cheap, relatively fast into town, but the last boat returning in the evening is a little after 6pm.

Traffic in Nonthaburi in the morning and evening is as bad as that in Bangkok. Nonthburi has a lot to see and do, but is not really the place for someone who wants to see the sights of Bangkok.
