sir my family shall be in bangkok from 23 oct to 25 oct,where we should stay so that it is comfortable and away from the nightlife of bangkok.we are going there for shopping

Siam area would be good. Novotel, Patunwan Princess Hotel, are both in this area, close to skytrain, MBK, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, Central World etc.

Siam Square area would suit, consider staying above MBK shopping centre @ Pathumwan Princess or away from Siam Square above the Emporium Shopping centre @ Emporium Suites. Both are comfortable (though not particularly cheap) and both have excellent links to the BTS skytrain system.
Look into the Pathumwan Princess, Arnoma, Baiyoke Sky, Indra or Asia Hotels.
These should offer great shopping access, without much of that ';famous'; Bangkok nightlife in your face.
