from phuket to kuala lumpur HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi im staying in phuket and want to make my way to K.L by train or bus,we would prefere the more comfort option even though we are backpackin!!

please help,where do we go from phuket to catch the train or bus? would i be better off flying is it too complecated???

If you want to see some of Malaysia on the way to KL you can fly cheap from Phuket to Penang with Firefly ( budget airline ) and as you can reach the mainland easily across the bridge or by ferry you can take buses or the train south from Butterworth to KL or go through Ipoh for a few days and other places along the way.
