Koh Kham is a private island a kilometre of Koh Mak. Popular with people looking for a real desert island experience, just one small hut resort, about 1500 baht/night, a nice little beach and some large black volcanic boulders.
However, the island has just been sold and new pool villas will be built there, these will be rented to the super rich for nearer 100,000 baht/night.
However, there%26#39;s still Rayang Island on the opposite side of Koh Mak for anyone wanting the small island with only one basic resort vibe.
