taxes

All taxes relating to travel to/within Thailand are included in ticket prices. There are fuel surcharges as extras on a ticket.

Organising your own travel is not hard, as many thousands of others do so each year. There are lots of websites where you can book hotels at discounted rates quite safely.

taxes

i always book my travel to thailand over the internet

why pay an agent extra?

you can book air travel and hotel easily on line

tax is included in the final price

try this site for flights

i echo what Andy says, i,ve been 8 times now and never used agents as it always cheaper to go independant and book everything on the net I,m not sure if you can use Netflight,s as you are from OZ, but you are bound to have equivalent.

Andy.

Ditto. It might be a little daunting the first time but it really is easy to do it yourself. Make sure you get some good advise though because if you get it wrong you could find yourself standing at the airport and being refused boarding. Some countries you need to arrange a visa before you arrive and it is the airline%26#39;s responsibility to check on this.

For Aussie%26#39;s, no prior arrangements are required for Malaysia or Thailand and Cambodia is Visa on arrival.

For cheap flights out of Melbourne to Thailand look at AirAsia via KL. We regularly fly from Gold Coast to Kl, and then on to Phuket, BKK, Cambodia or Vietnam for around $500 return incl all taxes.
