10 Friends, January 09, First time to thailand, NEED HELP!!!

Going to koh phangan second week Jan 09, 10 friends mid 20%26#39;s (boys and girls) first time to thailand and need help with accommodation.

Looking to spend around 3000Thb a night per couple.

Love our food and dont want to be TOO close to the FMP and not TOO far :)

Any help would be much apprecitaed.

Don%26#39;t make any reservation to ';Drop in Club'; There are a big work inside during 6 months approximatively or ask their for a discount.

The Hansa resort is very nice outside but the rooms inside are awfull. It%26#39;s a shame ! The bungalows need to be renovated

We stayed on the West coast. Really, getting to and from the parties (we went to the Half Moon Party) was not an issue at all. They%26#39;re so practiced at the whole thing, we got ferried back to our hotel very efficiently.

So, if you%26#39;re willing to leave Haad Rin, I seriously recommend Sunset Cove. I think we paid just over 3000 Thb per night for the best room, and our friend paid nearly half that amount for a perfectly good room without the view. Wonderful staff, good location, great pool and sunsets. Just hire a scooter for less than $10 per day and you can get anywhere on the island nearly. The staff will drop you at Haad Rin any night (for a cheap taxi fare) and there will be a million Song Taews heading back all hours of the night.

Cheers
