Phuket or Hua Hin?

Planning to stay 5 nights in Bangkok and then either 6 nights in Phuket or Hua Hin but can%26#39;t decide which?

We are a couple of mid 50 year olds and like nice beaches, sightseeing, shopping and good quality hotels. Also understand that the transfer from Bangkok to Phuket would be by internal flight. Problem is flying back to the UK Phuket does not offer a flight back to the airport we take off from as they all seem to land at Heathrow, London. Any information at all would be appreciated. Oh and where is best to stay in Phuket area wise?

Phuket or Hua Hin?

There are many replies on the Hua Hin from the other posting, depends what you want, both have their good points.

Hua Hin is natural with coastlines, beaches, villages, temples, scenic views along the coast, national parks,jungle etc plus the top beach hotels and resorts right on the beach.

Not sure what you mean about flights from Phuket to the UK all going the Heathrow, as you will have to change planes in Bangkok. You can fly on Thai, Air Asia, or Bangkok Airways Phuket-Bangkok and vv, so select a time to suit your departing flight from Bangkok.
