I am thinking of staying at one of two hotels in Bangkok.
!/ The Landmark
2/ The Armani Watergate.
Can anyone tell me how far away shops and markets selling clothing and footware are from both hotels what are the best markets and if I can use the skytrain what station do I need to get off at.
Thanks for any replies.
Best Clothing %26amp; Footweare Markets or Shops in Bangkok
Where does one start?Bangkok has bargains on every corner. Here are a few to get you started:Pratinam shopping center has floors of shops flogging every thing a woman is after.Across from there is a labyrinth of market stalls and shops that will blow the mind(not the budget!) Women%26#39;s shoes are so cheap in Thailand,so make sure your bag is empty(99-250 bauht is average)Siam (soi 1)is the area many students and Thai%26#39;s shop at(go down to the end.. fruit juice shop is on the corner..good juices!)Plenty of shops there and cheap! The weekend market is where every tourist goes and if you go early to late afternoon the crowds are generally not as bad.For more upmarket and designer shopping,Central World is definitely worth a look and Siam is great if just for the atmosphere value. For electronics, mobile phones(Sim card etc..)MBK is the go!Wear some good, comfortable footwear is my advice.That%26#39;s a start Birdie!

what are you talking about! Right infront of the landmark there are stalls selling clothing and footware already :P
The best markets?I think someone would want to travel further than the front of their hotel while on holiday..pretty boring and a waste other wise!
