White House or Imperial Boat House Choeng Mon Beach

Hi,

We are planning a trip to Koh Samui in June for our 25th wedding anniversary. I think we have finally decided on Choeng Mon Beach as our preferred area to stay. At this stage we are tossing up between White House and Imperial Boat House. Both of these places are within our price range. Would love something with a nice view, but more importantly a nice beach. Having recently stayed in Phuket at Patong with our teenage children we are looking for something quieter and more relaxing this time just for the 2 of us. Does anyone know whether White House rooms have balconies? Would love to hear some pro%26#39;s and con%26#39;s of each place from someone who has stayed at either property.

Hi, Cheong Mon beach is a great choice, you%26#39;ll love it. I%26#39;ve always stayed at the Boathouse, the premier rooms there are really nice. All of the rooms have balconies, most of them have loungers on the balconies but they don%26#39;t really have a view of the sea (although you can glimpse it from some of the higher rooms), they have a view mainly of the pool or gardens.

I%26#39;ve not stayed at the Whitehouse but don%26#39;t think it has balconies - you could always e-mail them and ask. I don%26#39;t think the views wouldn%26#39;t be full on views of the sea.

This is a small bay so both properties have access to the same lovely beach, very sandy with lovely warm water. Hope you have a great time.

White House or Imperial Boat House Choeng Mon Beach

We have stayed at the Imperial Boathouse twice and i would definatley go back there again. Staff there are great and very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are really nice and spacious with a terrace/balcony. The grounds are beautiful and well laid out and right on the beach. They offered free kayaking when we have been there. Food is good but you can get meals on the restaurants on the beach for much cheaper. Im trying to think if there was anything bad about this place but i dont think there is anything!

Try Imperial Boat House, same beach of White House bur better rooms, service and swimming pool. Beach is nice and quiet. I stayed in White House too, but I don%26#39;t remember any balcony.

Cheong mon is a good choice.

We stayed in the white house earlier this year and there are no balconies.

It is however a lovely smaller hotel. Breakfast not too sparkling though.
