weather etc

Hello all,

my girlfriend and I are planning a holiday to Phuket for August next year. Having never been to this part of the world was just wondering if anybody can give us an idea of what the weather will be like?

Also, we will be staying at the Indigo Pearl? Iv read plenty of reviews but does anybody have anything else to add about this hotel?
