can anyone suggest bars/clubs to visit in patong

that we could feel safe. just curious as to what goes on, not interested in any of their other

services, just want an idea of what every one talks about.but have heard and read about bad experiences where they try to extort money from you...

Recommend Suzy Wongs right at the end of Soi Seadragon on the right. It%26#39;s small, but the one that has the most fun in it because of the interaction between the customers and staff via lengths of foam pipe cladding :-) and you won%26#39;t get ripped off as the touts have an agreement with the owner not to take people there.

A tout will probably follow you down Soi Seadragon but just ignore him and say ';mai ow krap'; or ';mai ow kah'; if you%26#39;re a woman. A beer should be about 120baht and spirit based drink 150.

Definately going straight in to the deep end, but not at all threatening.

An interesting bar for sure. Can be good fun, but only if you are very broad minded.

Of course, I have never been to such a place myself.

The Rock Hard and the Roxy at top end of Bangla close to each other are about the nicest inside for decor but quite tame...you%26#39;ll only see the skimpily clad ladies dancing round poles. Suzy Wongs is more raunchy and fun...errr, so a friend told me :-)

Sounds to me like Mark and Rex have the same ';friends'; LOL

Mark%26#39;s never been but, hmmm, he sure seems to know some of the better places. And by better, I mean full-on seedy. heheheh

Might I suggest paying the bar fine and...how do I put this....observing your man. =) You can yell out tips. LOL

Well if it BKK go to soi cowboy, its nicer and cheaper and not so pushy than nana or patpong. As for suzys wongs i cant say as i am a beer bar boy !

I know were it is as sea dragon was my fav soi when i am there.( in phuket )

If in Bkk avoid lolitas as a first time adventure. My naughty cousin thought it would be a laugh to ';Highly recommend'; this establishment; and as unluck would have it, we were staying at a location only a BTS station away. Anyway, once we arrived it turns out that the place not only serves drinks, but erm... yeah... let%26#39;s just say it wasn%26#39;t the kind of bar I anticipated or would bring my mother too!

The above is a somewhat naive post. All the go gos serve ';ahem';. Lolitas is actually a lot of fun. In Phuket I echo the recommendation for Suzy Wongs.

Quite different, one in Patts as well. Truth be it i DONT go in these, to noisy and smokey and expensive, i like to drink outside in the fresh night air.
