will 拢1200 be enough spending money for two adults to take on a 2 week holiday to Thailand ( Nov08 )?

Food %26amp; drink per day can be around 200 to 500 Baht / person.

Taxi per cay can be about 200 Baht.

Domestic air tickets can be about 4,000 Baht / person. Please see the exact fares with the airlines.

The money will just be for food and drink and day trips, shopping etc as flights etc have already been paid for : )

Thailand is a very reasonable place to visit and much more friendly cost than Eu.

For a 1000 baht budget a day for 2 people is plenty of money in Thailand.

The average worker only makes 6000 baht per month ,

roughly 200baht a day.

I think that will be enough - me and hubs went last went to thailand in 2006 and spent about 拢800 and ate like kings and did several day trips and bought loads of clothes so i think you will be ok

Try and get a Nationwide Flex account before you leave and use ATMs for drawing cash, Good exchange rate and no Bank Charges, In my mind better than travelling with a large lump of money. Just don%26#39;t loose card. I have used often in Thailandd

I don%26#39;t know how thick 拢1200 will be. I brought 1,000 US$ in 100$ notes to Vietnam and hubby brought 40,000 Baht with him. All cash. We must be crazy but don%26#39;t want to use card in a foreign country.

We did 2 weeks on less than that easily not scrimping... we think that%26#39;s a very generous amount as things just don%26#39;t cost that much food and drink wise!
