Anyone knows what beaches are these two beaches?

What beaches are these 2?

The first one look like Sunset Beach taen from the highway, the second look like the northern end of Khao Lak (or Khao Lak South) Beach near the Merlin and other resorts there now.

What beaches are these 2?

Sunset Beach... it is the beach south from La On village?

Do you know, how much is taxi ride from La On to Sunset beach? And how long it should takes?

Oh... one important thing:

is it easy to get taxi abck to la On from Sunset Beach?

Vuosi sitten tksi Bang La Onista maksoi sunset beachille 60-70 bhatia. Matkahan ei ole pitkä, hotellista riippuen 1 - 2km. Yleensä kävelimme illalla syömään ja tulimme sitten mittarilla takaisin. Asuimme Bayfrontissa. Juu, takseja tyrkytetään kadun varsilla eli todella helppo saada kyytiä. Takseja on yleensä myös tyrkyllä heti hotellin alueen ulkopuolella maantien laidassa. Merlinin kohdilla oleva ranta on jo paljon kauempana eikä kylille käveleminen onnistu.

Just so this information may be usefuk to non-Finnish speakers ;) yes, Sunset Beach is south of La On, a continuation of Nang Thong Beach. It is easier to walk between them by day but by night a torch would help or you can now cut through the new Laguna Resort up to the highway. The walk along the walkway on the highway is very picturesque, giving you at the Viewpoint views over the Northern coastline. Taxis from the resorts\on Sunset Beach are plentiful and cheap. Many visitors staying there walk into La On in the evening, enjoying the sunset, then catch a taxi back after a beer or two. :)
