I%26#39; m trying to book internal flights in thailand and I think that Asia air only allows 15kg of checked in luggege, does anyone know how much it would cost to pre book 20kg instead.

Unless it has changed very recently you can%26#39;t pre book increased luggage allowance on domestic flights in Thailand. It%26#39;s 15kg then 165 baht per kilo over. They tend to aply this quite rigorously. Generous with hand luggage though so you can spread the load to lower the cost.

Thanks for the info. At 165 bart that works out at 拢13.60 for 5kg extra. That%26#39;s value, considering Asia air is 拢30 a flight cheeper than Thai air anyway.

Two years ago, I took a backpack instead of adult luggage (I wanted to try and use that which was a mistake at 42 years of age LOL). Air Asia couldn%26#39;t care less about the weight. They never weighed it. But last year, even with a smaller wheelie, they weighed it.

So, if you%26#39;re backpacking, it might skate through without them even weighing.
