Has any one in the last day or two, exchanged australian dollars for thai baht. What rate did you get and where abouts was the location of money exchange.

My hubby got back yesterday and said he was only getting 26 baht to the dollar! : (

The Exchange rate varies on a daily basis and is available on line. The rate you get here is close to the published rate. Exchange booths can be food everywhere.
26.65 according to XE.com today
We are heading off in a couple of weeks and have been watching the baht steadily dropping. A couple of months ago the Aus $ was worth over 32 baht!!
Just our luck!
At least we paid our accomodation when it was worth more.
