I went last year in Oct - probaly about the same time as your trip...and it rained every day ;o(

I was so disappointed as i thought based on all my home work that it would only rain in the evening, but no it rained during the day as well. But saying that you may be lucky - fingers crossed for you.

Now after saying that we are going back this year again as we still had a great time, but i have booked this time for mid Novemeber.

We too are heading to Thailand on the 15th but Khao Lak is our destination which is 1 hours drive north of Phuket.

You may like to look at this link showing the weather forecast for current weather and five-day forecast:

Look at the temperatures - 31-33C! Rain mainly overnight. Hope this continues until the end of October!

Khao Lak and Phuket weather is quite similar though it does rain a bit more in Khao Lak so fingers crossed!

We were in Phuket same time last year - had first week of the most beautiful weather %26amp; the second week of rain. Not the downpour %26amp; its over type of thing, but the rain, rain %26amp; more rain type of thing.

However, we are going back at the same time as I don%26#39;t think that the torrential rain was typical for that time of year. I do expect some rain.

HI THERE!! we%26#39;ve been here in Patong, Phuket for 10 days and the weather%26#39;s been amazing!! had rain on the day we arrived, not a drop since!! its just been getting hotter and hotter!! So nothing to worry about! if you do get rain, it wont last long!
