Can you be sure of getting original digital camera brands with warranty at Panthip Plaza?

Yes, if you are careful. To be secure, try the Central, Robinson, or The Mall department stores, but note that camera are not espcially cheap (nor expensive) in Thailand. Make sure the warranty is worldwide, and not just for Thailand.

Choose to buy from big store. There are couple of them in Pantip.

Try Pantip plaza. Go to AV CENTER they have 5 shops there.
Shop around . Go for models that dont have thai in it so that it is cheaper.
Just make sure that you ask if it has an international guarantee and you should be OK.
If you have time I would suggest that you shop around some of the bigger Malls as well.
Camera equipment (hardware) is more expensive in Thailand than in the uk also the models are around 6 months older.Don%26#39;t know what the cost is compared to Mumbai but will let you know....will be there in November.
