Airport transfer for 4 adults

I would like to check if the airport taxi counter can provide a taxi to ferry 4 adults with approx 4 piece of luggage.. We have checked round airport transfer and were quoted 2300 Baht... Would wish to know the rate at the airport.. We are staying at citadines suhkuvmit soi 8, near Nana BTS station...Thanks!!

Standard taxi will not be able to carry you and your bags; if you%26#39;re lucky there will be some larger van type cabs in the taxi queue, but no guarantee. You can try the airport authority limno service that has large cars and vans at cost of about 1500-2000 baht. They have a desk in the arrival hall.

Thanks dragon.. Hmm.. It seems like it would be better for us to get the round airport transfer pre-arranged first right? Was reading other travel forums and thought it would be more ex to get it prearranged

Thanks mmonkie! But the 2300Baht is round trip transfer, include from airport to hotel and hotel back to airport.. So not much difference if we were to take 2 cabs to hotel and 2 cabs back to airport..

May i know where you got your airport transfer from ? Pls let me know how you book your transport round trip ?? We are a group of 6 and will be visiting Bangkok in Dec. Definitely would need 2 taxis from %26amp; to airport. We are considering of booking a van to reduce the hassle of queuing for taxi. BTW we will be staying in Pratunam area, any difference in price ?? Thanks.

Hi.. I sent an email to candy@asiatravel.com... She quoted me 2200 baht for a van which can ferry up to 5 ppl..Think for larger group, its 2800 baht..

One way would be 300-400bath.

So roundtrip transfer would be B800max

we just went up to the taxi desk outside exit 8. There were 3 adults and 2 kids with the luggage to match. Just let the person at the taxi desk know you are all together and show them the luggage.

They have bigger taxis and we all fitted into one for 650bt to Pratanum. We got a card off the driver and rang him up to take us back to the airport. Just make sure that when they give you a price to ask is it all inclusive. We were told 650bt total so make sure that they do not try to add on airport fee and tolls if this is the total amount.
